WVU will welcome over 180 students, faculty and volunteers from Kentucky, Ohio, Virginia, and West Virginia at this three-day regional conference. CUWiP 2024 aims to provide participants an empowering, life-transforming, and valuable professional experiences through:
- Networking with women in physics of all ages and professional levels,
- Attending plenary talks on cutting-edge physics, panel discussions, interactive workshops on undergraduate research, and industry shadowing opportunities,
- Presenting a professional level research poster (optional)
- Advising on the graduate school application process, developing leadership and science communication skills, and discussing physics-based career opportunities.
